I quickly found that to obtain success here, you need to put in the work. The mental battles this job puts you through is unlike anything I've ever experienced. The amount of times I "quit" is comical. But I found that success starts with you. There's no one to blame but yourself. Your ego is tested and taken out and it all comes down to sacrifice and mental toughness. I ended this summer with decent money and I did get to lounge on the beach, but what I truly earned was respect for myself and everyone who does this job.
